Question 1

What is an AI bot?

Accepted Answer

An AI bot is software that uses artificial intelligence to chat with your customers automatically. In Malaysia, businesses embed AI bots on their websites to answer questions 24/7 in Bahasa Malaysia and English, capture leads, and support customers after hours. AIBot lets you launch one on your site in about five minutes.

Question 2

How much does an AI bot cost in Malaysia?

Accepted Answer

In Malaysia, AI chatbot pricing typically ranges from free plans to a few hundred ringgit per month. AIBot offers a Free plan at RM0 to get started, a Solo plan at RM19/month for growing businesses, and SME plans from RM99/month up to RM199/month as you scale — with higher tiers like Agentic Pro at RM399/month for advanced AI agent needs.

Question 3

AI bot vs live chat — which is better for my business?

Accepted Answer

Live chat needs a human online; an AI bot answers instantly at any hour. For most Malaysian SMEs the AI bot wins on cost and coverage — it handles routine questions 24/7 in Bahasa Malaysia and English, captures leads, and emails you the conversation when a human touch is needed.

Question 4

What is AIBot?

Accepted Answer

AIBot is a Malaysian AI chatbot platform built by AITG Sdn Bhd in Penang. It lets you embed a smart customer service chatbot on your business website in under 5 minutes — no coding required — built on the Teragrid AI platform with multi-model AI (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google and more).

Question 5

How do I add the AI bot to my website?

Accepted Answer

Sign up at aibot.com.my, create a widget, and paste one line of JavaScript into your website. The chatbot appears immediately on any domain you specify — it works on WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or plain HTML, with no plugin needed.

Question 6

Does the AI bot understand Bahasa Malaysia?

Accepted Answer

Yes. AIBot supports English and Bahasa Malaysia, including Manglish and natural code-switching. The AI automatically detects the language your visitor uses and replies in the same language, so one bot serves your whole Malaysian audience.

Question 7

Can the AI bot capture leads from visitors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. AIBot can prompt visitors to leave their name, email, and phone number before or during the chat. All leads are stored in your dashboard, trigger an email alert to your inbox, and can be exported as CSV.

Question 8

Is my data secure? What about PDPA?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and stored in a private database. AIBot is built with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) in mind — no conversation data is used to train third-party AI models, and your leads and chat history stay private to your account.

Question 9

Is AIBot suitable for small businesses and SMEs in Malaysia?

Accepted Answer

Yes. AIBot is designed as a SME-friendly AI agent. The Free plan at RM0 lets you test it risk-free, while paid plans from RM19/month scale with your needs. Setup takes 5 minutes with no coding required.

Question 10

Accepted Answer

Question 11

Accepted Answer

Question 12

Accepted Answer

Question 13
